Community guidelines
GymPal is for adults who want to train with other people and work with trainers. These rules keep it that way.
Be who you say you are
Use your real first name and your own photos. One account per person. You must be 18 or older.
Train, don't hit on people
GymPal is not a dating app. No sexual content, no comments on bodies, no pressure to meet outside of training. Someone who says "not now" means it.
Respect everyone
No harassment, hate, threats, or discrimination. No spam or selling outside your trainer listing.
Meet safely
First sessions happen in public places like gyms, parks and studios. Share your plans with someone you trust. Keep conversations in the app until you know each other.
Trainers
Describe your qualifications honestly. Show up on time, or cancel early enough that the client gets refunded under your own terms. Take payment only through GymPal.
Reporting and enforcement
Report any profile or message from the app. We review reports, and we may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules. Blocking someone is always available and always private.
